I have a Mac. Angel in a 150 f/o tank that has been battling these parasitic white things for some time now. They are much bigger than white spot and they change position from day to day. They don't stress the fish out: he eats fine, and doesn't scratch or breathe hard. I've done copper treatments, formalin dips, hyposalinity, and freshwater dips and although they remove the spots, as soon as the fish is put back in the main tank, they come back again. Additionally, these parasites after they've fallen off look as though they have significantly eaten away at the flesh of the fish. Unfortunately I've also found them on my Clown Triggerfish and my Sailifin tang as well. Here's a a pic of Mac. Any ideas on what it is or how to treat it?
