Mag 6 from a pond...to SW...???

Ok, well i got a Mag6, that was for a fountain on a koi pond.
I wanted to use it to pump RO water from the basement to the 1st floor...i wouldent have the pump sitting in reserve.
think if i give it a good cleaning, i wont have any crazy blooms?

I cant imagine it would be an issue at all, as long as its cleaned good with vinegar or someting.
Just a thought.... I dont think they make a mag 6, just 5 and 7. But even the 7 shuts off at 12 ft of head. So depending on how far up you want to go, it may not cut it.
