mag 7 pump ok for this?

I have a 29 gal tank and a single lifereef overflow box...my stand doesnt have very much room underneath and i could probably only fit a 10 gal underneath...i was thinking that i could possibly keep a 10 gal fuge to the side of the tank and just use good ole gravity to have it flow back into sump...i would also have a skimmer in the sump with the pump...is a mag 7 going to be ok for this or is it to much? the overflow would have a tee to take the water to the fuge and then a bulkhead to make the water flow out of the fuge

The single lifereef overflow box is rated at 700gph and the mag 7 is rated at 700gph max 450gph at 4 feet so I would think it would work fine.
