mag stopped working

Hey all... I've had my mag pump running for well over a year now... I came back from school to find it not working correctly... It is about a 1/4 as strong as it should be... it works but barely... I'm wondering if something in it needs fixed... I know its kinda vague but I have no idea... I clean it but just by taking off the front 4 screws and soaking and whatnot... maybe someone can help me identify the problem.. thanks!

I'd suggest you start by replacing the impeller assembly. These can be had from any big aquarium house that is an authorized Danner reseller... expect to pay about 10-20 dollars, depending on the model you have.
That would be my first move. If it's not that, about the only thing that it could be is a partially failed coil, which means a new pump, but I've never heard of those failing.
