Can these work on acrilis tanks.

Make sure you get one that specifically says that the pads are safe for acrylic, and be very cautious not to get and sand or anything else on the inside pad or you'll get scratches. I use mine to clean from a few inches above my sand bed up, then finish off with a plactic scraper just to be sure.
