Magnets?

depends on what you are talking about...if you are talking about the MagFloat, it is used to clean the inside of your aquarium (put the rough side inside the aquarium and the smooth side outside...it acts as an algae scrubber).
Some people use magnets to keep their powerheads in place...I haven't tried this yet, but I would have to think that it would work better than suction cups if you have strong enough magnets.

Magnets work for those Bomb diggety Eco-Aqualizers that everyone raves about.. and they increase miles per gallon on cars..and for some reason are in the bottom of shower curtains..[/end sarcasm]
I want a head count of all who read this that goes and checks for magnets in their shower curtains also...

since most everyone is making a joke, you probably can see that your question is way too vague. there are tons of different magnets used in the hobby, some clarification is appreciated :)

Wow, did this get outta hand fast, LOL.
I was looking over the "aquarium supplies" area on the sales area of this site and saw a section for magnets ... not once in the stickies I have read, etc did I see anything about magnet so sorry for the vagueness ... just didn't realize how specific it needed to be.
:D
But thank you all for the laughs ;)
