magnum 350 canister crises!!!!!

My magnum 350 is barely pumping properly water out of the outake, I have cleaned the charcoal filter and it is still barely coming out the unit is in a 85 gal reef 4 months old, help I never really liked this cannister filter because it is a pain in the ass to clean and the hoses are always in the way. Need advise fast on replacement, do not have receipt to take back to lfs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same filter on a 65 gallon freshwater that I am fixing to convert to a reef tank and it is doing the same thing. I broke it down and cleaned the whole filter system and it didn't help. I am just going to try and take mine back since it is only 2 months old

take the filter components out and check the little magnet impeller in the bottom of the canister make sure it is clean I had a peice of string around one that slowed it down
