Mail Ordered Fish

Ok those of you out there that have experience with mail ordering fish, I have a few questions. 1) Do the fish you get usually come in good condition as far as colors, size, and health?
2) Is it likely fish you get through mail order will come down with a disease that will take more time to kill them than the guarantee will cover? Also what can you do about it?
3) Those that have tried it, are you generally satisfied with your purchases? Does anyone have any horror stories they'd mind telling? Thanx in advance!

I ordered a clean up crew from saltwaterfish.com and everything came in good shape with directions on how to acclimate to your tank; yes I would order from them again.

we've ordered livestock online a couple of times, and can't complain
just make sure someone is there to recieve and acclimate them immediately, they have already been in those bags for 1 day

if they have a guarantee that the fish are healthy and stay alive there shouldnt be a problem. i have bought fish at an lfs that die and dont even come with a guarantee. it is up to you quarantine the fish before adding to the system.

We ordered fish and they came in healthy and just a little stressed, I will definately order again.....

I have had better experiences buying on line then when I go to the LFS.

how much is shipping usually one fish or clean up crew packages my lfs has some really high prices.i went the other day to puchase some equipment and they wanted twice the price i can get it online so i have to wait a week to get it in but i saved about 100$

I have ordered fish and many inverts online, with no problems.....even in the dead of winter. Never had a fish arrive DOA, they are kinda stressed, but once aclimated and put in their new tank, they are happy. I havne't had any fish die that I've ordered online. I say go for it.
