Main water in Hypo Tank????

I need to set up a Hypo Tank TODAY!! My 3 tangs have ick and its getting bad quick. I did not have a QT tank *smacks self* but I need one now. Is it ok to just buy a 10/20 gallon tank from walmart or something and use the main tank water to avoid cycling? The 3 tangs are 3 inches. Sould I also put the cleaner shrimp in there. Thanx.

That should help alittle but im sure your still gonna have a small cycle. Fill the QT up with water from the main tank, and keep a VERY, VERY close eye on the water conditions, you'll prolly have to make lots of water changes to keep the params in good shape. :D
