About 3 years ago I bought what I thought was a RBTA. I brought it home and it spread out to over 9 inches across. Well about 1 year after I had it, it split. I said cool, now I have to. Well in the past 2 years it has split about 25 times and they keep getting smaller. I have given a few to fellow club members and they have split multiple times in there tanks.
Here is a pic of one of the babies. What do you think it is?

Here is 1 more pic of 1 of the splits, i put it in my nano. They have sense been removed and taken to a friends tank.

From your description it appears that it is a RBTA. How much did you pay for it? They are quite expensive as they are more sought after than most other anemones. 25 times in 2 years? I suspect there are issues with your tank. The tendency to split when they get large is normal. However multiple times in that short of time is typically an indication of stress.
