Major Problems..Need Experts

My tank is still going through cycle (3rd week) I knew that one of my rocks was unstable, so today I finally moved it
I have :
3 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
1 Scarlet " "
5 Nassarius
3 Astrea
as my clean up crew. I hope I don't kill them all..
anyways, back to the unstable rock. I moved it.. which cause me to move all of my rocks, caused a HUGE
stir up and you could barely see anything. I am afraid that I might kill everything

I also moved my little rock with my Majano on it.. and was waving my finger in front of it to see if it would do anything, aand.. I accidently sucker-punched it.
It curled up so far, I couldn't see any tentacles
I feel like such a doof, and I hope I don't kill anything.
Does anyone think that a cycle could.. "Re-cycle"? even when the cycle isn't all the way complete?

with what you have in the tank stirring it up wont affect anything with the possible exception of the majano. It will settle down and some of the sediment will layer on the rocks and the majano if he is open..so...assuming your "sucker punch" didn't actually injure him then it may work out as having done him a favor (if he's closed he wont have to deal with all that sediment) What you should do is gently siphon vacuum some of that stuff out each time you do water changes - but do not disturb anything but the top 1/4" or so of substrate.
All of this assumes that none of the critters were actually crushed by falling rock - when you can see clearly enough just gently move all the rocks that moved and make sure nothing is trapped.

Thanks
I made a checklist of what I can see, and I am missing 3 nassarius snails. I didn't see them under the rock before I put it down, I even ran my fingers throught the top of it so they would all come up, but nothing did. The Majano has come out some.
I am going to get food for it tomorrow.

Why do you have inverts in your tank if it is still cycling? I hope that all will be good. Can you please post your current water readings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, kh, sg, and temp?

mojano dont die that easily, took me 2 days of nuking with joe's juice, home-made kalk/boiling water cocktail to kill them :p
hermits/nassarius are pretty tough as well, I've made stupid mistakes with them before and somehow they always pull though (such as over dosing... local nitrate bomb etc etc) but just to make sure, dont add too many stuffs at once right after the cycle, you want the tank become more stable before you introduce new critters.
good luck with your tank!

Yup, your right. But it's pretty neat to watch. The only live thing I have right now besides snails and crabs.

Get the ammonia and nitrite to zero. If you still have ammonia then you are still cycling.
