OK, i got my maxi jet 1200 for my Biocube 14 2 days ago. today, i came home and my tank was all air bubbles. The pump was putting water out too fast, and water couldn't flow in fast enough. First question, how do i get a 1200 to fit in the 3rd compartment? It was up too high, and thats why there was air being blown out. Can someone give me a diagram of how it would fit, and what "attachments" from the kit you put on it. Second, how come water wasn't flowing in fast enough??? There was nothing restricting flow, and the display, compartment 1, and compartment 2 were full. PLEASE HELP!!!

I don't have that pump but I would say your overflow or what ever is draining water does not drain enought GPM to keep up with the pump.Is this in your sump wet/dry or Refugium add more water to it but turn off pump so you know it wont over flow this will make it drain faster.

its in a BC 14 with the filtration built in. I have the max amount of water in, but still had air.
I read about cutting the part where the water flows from chamber 1 to chamber 2 a little bit wider, allowing water to flow in faster. how would i cut the plastic in the filtration system?

Well if you want to mess with the plastic a dremel tool would work.Being you have water in your tank and your dealing with electric probly wouldn't be good and geting stuff in your tank.
