I want to use this bio-ball sump as a refugium with live plant and such... what do i need to complete this... should i use this? i was gonna put live sand in the bottom and plants with a light under my tank... (55gal)... any suggestions?
it should work just don't use the bioballs with it imo. put sand across the bottom some macro algae and seperate the return pump from the sand so you don't suck it in and you should be fine.
