Making a reflector

I just order my lighting for my tank and I think the reflector isn't big enough to max out the best lighting for my tank so I decided to plan to make myself a reflector. Just wanna know what materials would make the best reflector. Thank you. :) :)

I used mirrored tiles from the hardware store. I used silicone for adhesive, and am happy with the results. By the Bye, after doing this I went to my local LFS and they have the same set-up.
My brother in law, who is an electrician, said that the supply house has a reflective "thing" that will screw into the Knockout on the metal box on which my MH sockets are mounted and that they would be preferable to the mirrors glued to the woood of my hood. I have not checked into this as of yet.

Also metal gutters for houses work well. Very reflective if not coated (ie, bare metal). I'm about to build a canopy using those.
