how do you make your own liverock? or what are the best ways?

prk543 Member Apr 1, 2007 #3 The only way i know of to "make" live rock is to have live rock and base rock in your tank and the bacteria and what not will eventually colonize your base rock. I am not completely positive, but i think thats about it.

almostclueless Member Apr 1, 2007 #4 Just go to you're landscaping store, and buy some rock. It will eventually turn "live" from the bacteria transfered on it from you're other Live rock.
