Making my own sump questions(plastics)

Two questions relating to working with plastics.
First lining up the bottom/top on my self built sump. It seems not all my edges are perfectly level, can I still use the pins capilary method. I'm concerned it won't wick into all the edges.
Also, has anyone worked with Lexan. I can get Lexan at a considerable discount, but I was wondering if I can use the same products and same methods of joining.
Thanks for your help,
B

Lexan is not really suitable as it does absorb water, as does plexi if yu read the specs, but absorbion rate on lexan is too much. Its not well suited to being submersed in water 24/7 as plexi is. Its also a lot more flexible as well so things tend to warp or get catty wompous easier with lexan.
The biggestproblem if joints are not true is they tend to become weak. The edges of the pieces really need to be smooth, and square to the sheets sides and free of runout and cut in's. Its esy to run a router with a flush cut bit against them to square em up, usiung a straight edge if necessary. You mnay try some Weldon 16 which is a thick bodied cement, but in all reality there is not any real strengthin the dried weldon 16 alone whenits used like a caulk to seal up a smallhole etc.
