Malfunctioning Cleaner Crew

I got my cleaner crew last week and all of the algae that was on the Live Rock went away in a couple of days. But the algae on the sand and walls has not changed at all. I even got a qeen conch as well. Should i get a specific type of cleaner for the Live Sand in my new tank?

The back wall u should not worry about, the sides and front of the tank can be cleaned with a magfloat cleaner and a scraper to get the hard stuff off. As for the sand I try to gently blast the top layer of the sand once a week to keep algae from forming.

best bet is to tell us what you have for a clean up crew, and what type of algae you have. otherwise its a guessing game.

I agree with the others totally but have some stuff to add:
For the walls I've found that Astrea snails do a good job of cleaning the filmy buildup in between the times you can get in there with a scraper or scrubby (more of a problem with acrylic than with glass). Also, Nassarius snails are good sand sifters and will help keep the sand somewhat clean, though I usually siphon my sand out every once in a while.
Hope that helps.
