At what point is your house too frilly? Like how do you balance not really caring what your house looks like with not wanting your house to be pink and purple because that is what your wife likes?

My wife happens to be a highly skilled TV Engineer who works for the Madison Square Garden network, so yes, as a matter of fact, she can operate a dolly, along with the 300lb TV camera sitting on it!

I see why you married her. Does she also enter the lumberjack contests?

Is she any good handling a tv boom crane? Do those skills translate well?

I am guessing at the point where you have to ask this question
Your man-card is too weak to even play, I paid the price and took an active role in decorating our entire house and put in the time and my wife does not even do the frilly country thing at all and much prefers tribal artwork instead.
This kind of experience comes from being married for over 20 years, I got a house that I can live with and indeed like and I still got the garage, a spare room and my coverered deck that I have converted over to a bar and grill.

So how's that puberty thing coming along for you?

I didn't mean to drop the ball(s) on this thread.
This idiom isn't a perfect fit, but you get the gist.

Country is frilly? I thought country decor was a game wall and then a gun wall, then a wall of family pictures in cheap frames. The other wall being windows facing the back porch...
