Mandarin close up

I finally got a close up pic of my mandarin. Here it is.

Nice job. I hardley get to see mine!!! It is fun watching them stalk their prey though. They remind me of cats hunting birds.

Nice Mandarin NM I have heard you can tell the --- of mandarin by thier top fin. Whats the difference. Has anyone ever kept a male and female together?

a males top fin is longer and pointed, the female's isn't pointy, hard to tell when they are small
