whats the deal with these guys? everywehre i read it says the tank needs a lot of rock work? how much rock work will suffice for these guys to feed properly? they are so damned awesome looking and i want one really bad!

they live soley on pods....if you don't have a tank which will produce a constant thriving population of pods you will be fine...but mandarines have been known to totally knock out a whole pod population and then they will die of starvation in time....

i just realized you post was in the nano forum...if you have a nano you prolly will want to look elsewhere other than mandarinds i don't know if it is physically possible in a nano to have enough pods....

im wanting to upgrade to a 20-30 gallon tank. anyone have any suggestions on what to get and where to get it...(for a good price (fingers crossed))!!!!!

i want a mandarin too but theres not way he'll manage in my 12g....thats why he'll go in my 125g when its set up and running for some months
