I just had to share this. Everybody knows dragonets are difficult fish to keep. Due to there food choices. Knowing this I still got one. Figuring most people don't do the needed research or just listen to the lfs that they'll eat what ev. I fig mine would at least have a fighting chance I had some pods. I then found a lfs that sold live pods in a bottle. But my other fish loved them too. So thanks to this forum and I believe saxman. I got prawn roe to feed him. He loved it. Ate it rt away. Now this was 2 months ago. Today I get home and I try to feed my fish some pellets for there nutritional value b4 I give them frozen. Well when my pellets hit the bottom to my shock!!!! My Mandy was gobbling them up!!!!! One hit the sand over he went and ate it! I've heard of them eating frozen but pellets? I couldn't believe it.

Awesome and encouraging. I'd love to get one. M do you just shoot a handful of pods in the tank? Or dump an entire bottle in?

I should clarify. I rarely give them pods now. Maybe 1 every couple months BC they eat the prawn roe. Its much cheaper than pods and easy to feed

Lol yes prawn eggs. Nutramar makes them. Most dragonets will eat it. A guy on here told me about it.
