mandrians and ICH

This may be a coincidence but right after my Ich outbreak, I found my mandarin looking sluggish one day and then the next it was being consumed by my open brain coral. No visible signes of ich though.

I've wondered this regarding QTing. Since madarins have such a special diet in most cases, would it not harm them to QT them for a few weeks?

Mandarines, with the exception of being in an extremely ich infested tank, do not get ich and do not need to be quarantined.

They are one of those fish that you have to take a chance on because of their special dietary needs. You can't hypo or copper treat them because of their unique dietary needs.
