Mantis in rock?

I was rearranging my rock work and had a rock in a bucket with wet wrags on top. I heard a clicking noise. How do I get the Mantis out of the rock or would you throw it away? I hate to as it's a large piece.

ive heard that is a good way. but if for some reason taht doesn work you can make a trap with a coke bottle. Cut off the top with the hole and turn it around then stick it in so you are petruding the bottle with the end. Then place food inside.
wait.... i jsut processed this..... isnt it pistol shrimp that make the clicking noise?!

How lucky were you to have it unknowingly contained! I heard of FW dips, seltzer water, stabbing in the holes with anything sharp...just watch your fingers. Its been awhile now, did you get it out?
Fishieness---both a mantis and pistol will make clicking noises, the click is different. One is described as machine gun-like, the other not as fast. I never had either so this is just what I have read.
