Mantis Shrimp in live rock

I am just wondering since that i am almost ready to buy rock for my tank..... I have everything but lights. How offten you do find intruders in rock like a mantis shrimp, bristle worms, and pistol shrimp or any other critter for that matter.... hope you all can help thanks Jon

I think it depends on what type of rock you get, I have ordered figi several times and have never gotten a mantis or pistol shrimp. As far as birstle worms and other life, there is usually plenty of that type of good stuff. I do know that people that get florida aquaculture rock do get more mantis shrimp than other types of rock.
