Mantis Shrimp in my tank, crap!!

ok guy i brought anther 30 pounds of LR today, to make it 75ish pounds, and that mean no more LR rock. but as i was watch wat would come out today i saw a critter in the rock who would poke his head out. at the first sight of me he would duck back in, so i paciently waited for about 10min and he finally came out.
now i know its a mantis shrimp cause i got this fantastic photo from PhoenixOfThePyre (who i hope doesnt mind me using his pic) and its eyes gave it away as well.
my problem is i have and 70 gallon tank and i dont want it to be a species only tank, so how in hell do i catch his little bugger.
Wat do Mantis shrimp feed on, all i have is two hermits in my tank so could i starve the mantis, and any ideas on how long that would be.
im not really that keen to do a fresh water dip, but if it comes to that i guess i will have to.

you could set up a shrimp trap that they sell at the LFS or you can try and locate the rock he's in and take the rock out....

I heard you can make your own trap. tie a string to the neck of a coke bottle lay a coke bottle down next to where he lives with a piece of shrimp in it. turn off light lights and wait for him to go for the bait once he's in there yank the bottle out with the string.
