...was not sure if this was the right place but anyway.....i want to get a mantis shrimp....what are the requirements...i mean a 10 or a 5 gallon with some live rock crystal or acrylic.....what do i need??

What kind of mantis? Most of the ones we see in the hobbywould be fine in a 20g or smaller with a good sand bed and LR, but alot of that would depend on wether it is a spearer or a smasher, and where it comes from, adn what species it is.

i wan thinking on gettin a peacock mantis like the one they sell here i havent really found any others for sale anyway

I have heard the reccomendation for them range anywhere from 20 gallons to 55 gallons.
