Do mantis shrimp eat frozen food? I ask bc I have what I think is one in my tank for about a month now. Doesn't touch my fish, snails, crabs, or shrimp. But I see him coming out grabbing frozen and back into the rock. Lol

Do you have a picture? Mantis shrimp will eat anything edible, including your thumb. Yours doesn't sound very mantis-like.

I will try and get one. Its fairly elusive. Lol I only knew it was there bc I moved a piece of rock and saw it come scooting out. It looks mantis like but I agree does not act it. I will def try and get a pic sir

You might get lucky and it turns out to be a small spiney lobster. I want one for my tank. If I ever get the stand finished. I broke my thumb last week and that slowed the build even more.

Oh that sucks. The thumb down makes life tough. Yea idk once I get a pic ill post. It looks like a mantis to me, but there are a ton of weird critters out there so who knows lol.
