maracyn, not so fast dissolving and yellow water?

i added the first dose of maracyn to my tank. it says it dissolves quickly but mine took about 4 hours to disolve. also it turned my water a yellowish color. the fish are fine, but is this ok cause it didnt say anything about that in the directions. any help from anyone who used this product would be great.

Yes, this is ok. I think hardness of water effects the disolve time for this med...when I've used it, it is hard to dissolve too.
The yellow tint to water is the Vit B complex that is added to the med. No harm and it will fade after you finish up the medication treatment. Following treatment use carbon filtration and all will clear up without a problem.
