Marbled Starfish

Unfortunately, they are not, IME, scavengers...otherwise there survival would be much better and they would readily take to spot feeding.
THey are reef safe but some of the single most delicate animals we try and keep. They need A LOT of LR to have a chance of survival, and their diet is thought to be even more specific than Linckia. In tanks with 150lbs of LR or so, they have a reasonable chance long term. Most I see are dying of acclimation shock. They need a very mature tank, with pristine water conditions. Definitely research your parameters and tank suitability before purchase. Most will die in a month of acclimation shock, or within 18 months of starvation, in smaller tanks without enough LR, IME.
If, BTW, you mean Linckia multiflora which is sometimes called the marbled star, then it can make do in smaller tanks, but still need a lot of LR, long acclimation, and pristine conditions.
