Mardel

Has anyone ever used the Mardel in tank Ammonia monitor? I have one for a couple weeks now and it is showing zero ammonia, but just for kicks I used my Aquarium Parmaceuticals saltwater master kit and it was showing between 00 and .025 on the scale........Everything in the tank is thriving and as healthy as the days everything came home. I am wondering if my kit is just old or the Mardel thing isn't reliable?

Not sure what the brand name is on mine but I bought one a few months ago and I noticed it did change colors while I was going through my cycle. However last week it was showing "zero" and I tested with my vials and saw significant ammonia. I threw the monitor away and am going back to checking with vials on a very regular basis.
