Are Marine Bettas and shrimp able to live happily together, and if so what kinds of shrimp? The MB is about 4.5 inches long and swimming around a 55gal reef with a coral beauty angel and blue tang.

I have a cleaner with my betta. Sounds like about the same size. Shrimp never has bothered, but doesn't try to clean the betta either. I also have a peppermint and a camel in there somewhere. I hardly ever see them. I'm not saying it is safe, but mine have lived together so far with no problems. Now thata I've said this, that rat Murphy will show himself, I'll have a fat betta, and no shrimp.
