We have quite a few but seems we are always looking at just a couple inparticular. 1)pocket guide to marine fishes. Author Scott W. Micheal 2)The Burgess Atlas And 3) Baensch Marine Atlas These seem to a;ways get the job done for us. If not in one we can almost find it in one of the others. Don't be to surprised on the cost though they can be kind of steep especially the Burgess almost $100 whomever said knowledge is priceless never tried to buy these books.....lol

pocket guide is an easy quick ref. which is very handy and not a fortune--everyone should have one. I think the atlas' go a little further in depth. I never did spring for those books, spent too much on lr instead

make sure your not getting the mini burgess. There are 2 one is a complete and one is a mini. The complete has 784 pages. If it's the same one for 60 better grab it, thats a good deal!!!!
