been adding marine snow for about 4 days and have noticed alot of suspended particles in the tank. i only added 1 cap a day in my 80 gal tank were the directions call for 1 per 20 gals. looks like its snowing. water parameters are fine, cal up a little @ 500, but everything else is fine. anyone else have this prob, or any suggestions would be welcome. thanks

your dosage should be based on how many filter feeders you have. The directions on the bottle are usually to much.

Ive never used this product. I assume this is the Plankton system sold by Two Little Fishies? Has anyone had success wiht it??

I use the product but you still have to be careful not to overdose it. Has worked good so far for me.

The stuff is a waste of money... it's mostly water. Plus the few organisms that are present are not the best. Use something else... if the product causes problems in the tank I guess it's not being used.
Try some of the new stuff by liquidlifeusa, they have a web page.
Hope that helps

I use Marine Snow and DT's, no problems here. Your calcium may be high, and it could be precipitating out, I don't know what ppm it does this though, just guessing. I agree to not dose as much as recommended. I use 2 capfuls about twice a week and have a heavy load of lps and a few sps corals.

thanks everyone who responded. :) i did a 10% water change and it helped alittle. i stoped using marine snow and i guess i'll have to wait till it clears up. water parameters are still fine with cal @ 500. haven't added any supplements since sun. everything still looks great. any ideas to get your cal down besides water changes?
