maroon and goby

Would like to know if a maroon would kill a small green clown goby??
My tank is a 10 gal, up and running for 3 years now. Clown had her bubble tip anemone and is the only fish in the tank.
What do you all think??

i had a maroon with a small black clown goby and the maroon never even noticed him in the tank. i think you will be fine

I agree, I had a maroon and small diamond in a 10 gallon and they never touched each other

How big was your goby when you put it into the tank??
This little guy is about the length of my baby nail which is tiny??
I have lots of large mushrooms and toadstool but would it go near the anemone??

I put a misbehaving yellow clown goby in the main tank with momma maroon and she ignored him completely, I really thought he wouldn't last long in there, which he didn't once I added a sixline.

Thanks for the replies. When its time I will place him in there I think and watch very carefully. I think the goby family is quite bold little guys but time will tell.

Well all is fine with the little goby. After I put him in there he went right to the rock where the clown is and the clown went near him and then swam away. Just what I was hoping would happen. Quite a bold little one for the size, I think all should be fine as there are lots of hiding spaces.

Well all is still good with the little goby the maroon looks at it and just goes back to her anemone. The goby is to busy scooting from rock to rock. It was out tonight in the front of the tank, did not seem shy at all as I went near the front of the glass.
Say will these gobies eat cope pods?? I have tons in my tank every where. The little goby seems to have a fuller tummy than when I bought him. Hope that is a good sign.
