i noticed back before i bought my gold stripe that it suggest keeping only one per tank. i've had it for 5 months now and everything is going good. it's in a 240gal with plenty of live rock and swimming space. does the suggestion of one per tank mean gold striped maroons, or clowns in general? i'd hate to buy a couple true percs or something and have get them beat up my the maroon.
thanks in advance for the input.

Typically you should only keep two clowns of the same species per tank especially with maroons as they are one of the most aggressive and territorial . Since you have such a big tank you might get away with adding two percs on the opposite of the tank . Does your maroon stay mostly on one side or does it wander around .

now the you mention that, it does hang aroung the right hand 1/3 of the tank. he's pretty rambunkshious when the food hits the water, but they all are. perhaps if the new clowns were the same size or bigger, and on the opposite side, maybe it'd be ok.
