I was at my LFS store the other day and there was a Maroon Clown or Gold and Maroon clown that was over a foot or more I would say foot and half. It was HUUUUGGGGEEE. This thing was bigger than a Queen Angel. I have never seen anything like it. I swear it looked like a mutant clown or something. Is this normal or what? It wasn't for sale.

Either a Maroon or Gold and Maroon Clown yes it was insane. It was hosting a Bubble Anenome but it was about 20 times bigger and squashing it like a bug.

I will ask the LFS if I can take a picture. Its the biggest Clown I have ever seen. I didn't know they got even close to this big. Maybe they will let me take a picture.

wow, I kind'a feel sorry for the anemone it is hosting though. Probably not getting any light! I would love to see a pic of it. The biggest clown I have seen was a gold stripe maroon clown about 5".

yeah, my lfs has an old female like the one you're describing, around 6" or so and faded, but over a foot, i'd love to see that.

I will try and go up there and get a picture as soon as I can. Guys and gals it was the freakiest thing I have ever seen in my life. It has to be mutated or something. I mean there is a huge angel in there and he is bigger than it. I will get a picture as soon as I can if they don't mind.

I will try my best guys. I am leaving on vacation so it will be at least a week. This guy is well over 6 inches I almost fell over when I seen it. I am not messing with you guys its HUGE. So as soon as I get home I will try and snap a picture when they not looking or ask permission either one. To give you an idea on how big it was. It is bigger than your keyboard.

Yes, an oscar is a FW south american cichlid (piranha's are also south american but not related). Incidently, cichlids are distant relatives to damsels, of which clownfish are a member. So, actually, that clown fish is a closer relative than a piranha. A clown bigger than an oscar? That is really amazing.
