maroon clown fish.... frustrated

Yesterday, I got two striped maroon clown fish. Pretty close to the same size.They first started out fighting now one of them is hosting with my bta and the other is hiding in the lr. I was hoping they would start getting along but no such luck. just wondering if I should take one of them back to the fish store and get a smaller one or just give up and take one of them back period. but then the question would be which one???? The one that is hosting with the bta is very protective around the bta when other fish come swimming by he is right there to pretty much say hey get out of here this is my spot. Will he always stay and pretty much swim only near the bta???
Maybe I just don't have enough patience!!!!

key word in your description would be, "yesterday" give it some time, my female perc was very territorial when it first hosted to the smaller male, after a few days no such harshness is occurring anymore. they both hang out now in the BTA...
so plain and simple, you need some more time to tell
and in the future get 2 different size clowns, so that they will take dominant and submissive roles more easily.....2 clowns the same size is never a good idea IMO
