Maroon Clown Question

Is it possible to put a Maroon Clown in a 25 gallon tank. I only have one yellow tail Damsel in there. I also have 25-30# of lr and 3in ls bed. I have an assortment of snails and crabs as well. Its been up for 6months now.

he should be ok. Just keep in mind they get to be 6 inches one day. Buy a baby and you shoudl be ok. The book i have calls for a 30 gallon but it may just be a length thing that will help accomidate them better.

Im only gonna keep him and maybe toss out the yellow tail and put a put a percula clown in their. I just love the clowns, but i really want a maroon because of their coloration.

well if you want a perc then you have to pic perc or maroon. They will kill eachother unless you keep about 10 of each in the same tank. Even then.... If you like percs then get a pair of them. They would be very happy in a 25 and you could keep one or two other fish with them. Such as the damsel and maybe a blenny or goby....

So 2 percs and a court jester goby would do fine in a 25
