Maroon Clown=Weird Behavior

My maroon cown has started to stir up the sand by shaking his body really fast therefor pushing out the sand leaving big holes. I'am affraid the holes might lead to a collapse of my reef. Why is he doing that, is it beacause he need an anemone or what?

Sounds like she is building a nest, I'm not sure about maroon clown behavior but I've seen other fish do this to spawn.

My tomato clown did the same stuff.......after he got him a bubble anemone(sic).....still trys to keep stuff away

My maroon (moron) clown does the same thing.

My maroon clown does the same thing, she 3 anemone and still does it. LOL

All the others are correct it is normal for your clown to do this and I think the post about nest building is probably the closest to the actual reason why.
