I wanted to know peoples oppinions on putting either a small golden puffer 4-5" or a volitan lion 5" with a 3-4" maroon clown. The clown is already in the tank, will they eat him? It is in the 90 gallon FOWLR.

I don't see why it would not work. The clown is already in the tank, I have seen the maroon clowns get a little nasty at times, it should be able to handle it's own. I would think the lion would not eat the clown and they would grow at the same rate, and the maroon can get pretty big for clown. Good Luck

Years ago I tired 2 different times to put a clown and a Puffer in same tank and both times the clown became dinner in time. Both times it happened at night when the lights were out and the clown was asleep. One time it happened as my wife happened to be in the area and she started screaming (as if the Puffer cared). By the time I got the clown out of the Puffs mouth it was to late its back was broken. Also, that clown was bigger then the Porks mouth but that didn't matter to the pork one bit.
