Maroon Clown won't eat???

I am new to saltwater and I have a couple of questions and thought this was the best place to ask. I have live sand and live rock, a flame scallop, a yellow tail damsel, and a maroon clown. Everyone looks fine, but I have not seen the clown eat at all. I've tried emerald isle, blood worms, and flakes. The damsel likes them all. Any sage advise for me?
Also, I want to add a yellow tang and a lionfish.....the lion would be about 5 inches and the tang about 4". Would that be a problem?
Oh, the tank is a 55gal.
Thanks, Teri

can't have the yellow in a 55gl. My book says 75gl min, but I've also been told can't have yellows in 75gl. You can't have a tang in 55gl.
i don't know about the lion.
Question time.
How long has your tank been set up?
what are your levels? (ph, sg, nitrates, ect?)
how long have you had the clown? sometimes new fish won't eat for a few days or longer.
Does the yellow bother/stress/attack the clown?
Does the yellow let the clown eat? Sometimes other fish will eat all the food and not one have any. Feed at both end of the tank if this is a problem.
Try enriched brineshrimp. though mine loved the bloodworms, never touched flakes, and I don't know what that other food is. Try soking the food in garlic, i've heard that helps.

first of all welcome to saltwater
.ok i have a couple questions for you how long have you hade the tank and how long have you had the clown? if the clown is only a few days old give him some time to adjust to his new sorroundings also i would try using frozen food i usaly feed new fish frozen to get them to start eating. as far as the tang goes they relly need a lot larger tank then a 55 at least a 75 gal sorry
lionfish are predators on vary small fish and inverts. and can be very finnicy eaters and they need lots of space. this fish are just going to get to big for you system i now this can be hard to take but its just the way it is the tank could be keept in the 55 but like i said it will quickly out grow your system so if you are planning on upgrading soon i would go for it. there are a lot more people on this website that now alot more than me so keep posting and remember no question is stupid. also when posting questions it is good to tell people a little more about your system, ex size of tank, how much lr/ls you have your water perimeters and relly any thing and everything about your system once again welcome
