Maroon Clown?

I am very fascinated with Maroon clowns and have been wanting to get one for the past couple of weeks. I was told they can be aggressive towards other clowns, and that is fine with me as I can stay clear of them. I wanna know if they are aggressive towards other species of fish or just to clowns. Anyone??

I just recently bought a maroon clown and the LFS told me that they were only aggressive towards other clowns, not other fish.....but someone else might have better insight.

i have a maroon and he is fine with all my other fish.the most agression i ever see out of him is when another fish disturbs his home ( dug out a cave under a chunk of live rock)

I have to say my maroon was one of my favorite fish. However, I had her about 2 years and she became aggressive toward EVERYTHING! I guess she thought the whole tank was hers......
the LFS store bought her from me because she was simply stunning and she is still swimming about in their display (despite many grand offers for her).
IMO.... any fish can get aggressive if you keep them long enough and if you over crowd the tank.
Best of luck!

I had a Maroon that was very aggresive. It picked on everything in my tank. My LFS told me when I traded it in, it may have been more calm if I would have added a pair and not just one and they also had an Anemone. Go figure, I think it just depends on the fish.
