Maroon clownfish bully

I recently purchased a new maroon clownfish that took over another maroon's home in my blue carpet. The clown was about twice the size of the first as I was told to get a bigger one. The clowns didnt fight at all. The problem I noticed is the larger clown pushs and moves the blue carpet around abusively. Last night I noticed that the blue carpet looks like he now has a rip on his side. I have had the carpet for over six months and know that rip was not there before. My question is was the maroon being to rough with him and caused him to tear himself? I am now wanting to get rid of this maroon because I feel that I am a beatiful anemone short now because of this clown. Any info would be great.
