maroon gold striped

Hello everyone, I just added a gold striped maroon and plan on getting another this weekend. Can I add a white striped or does it have to be another gold striped ?? Or can these be together at all ?? I know clowns love to pair up, but all my LFS tell me not to pair these clowns up because of their aggressive behavior. They will be my only fish in the tank for awhile.

I also have a gold stripe maroon clown. Lots of LFS tell you not to add more than one of these clowns because they become territorial and aggressive toward other clowns after being alone for a while. I am as well thinking of adding another one to my tank and hope for the best. I think clowns are cool when they pair up. I think you should go for it...i am.

if ur gonna get another maroon then it has to be gold stripe. also make sure that the one you are getting is much smaller than the one you already have. also how big is your tank?

All maroons reguardless of the stripe color are the same species. The stripe color is yellow/white depending on where they are collected from. You can mix or match colors
