Maroon stripes

I have 2 maroon clowns in my dt. One is apprx 4" and has been in the tank about 3yrs. The other is about 2" and been in about a year. My question is do maroons loose their stripes as they get older??

they usually dont but there colors start fading. i think thats how most fish are.
