Marrow Clow Fish Behavior

I recently added my 2nd marrown clown fish to my 55 gal tank that has been up for 2 to 3 months now. When i entroduced the larger marrown clown fish to the new tank, the smaller clown fish had a small encounter with the new large clown fish but that was the end of it. 1 week latter the attidute between them seems kind of odd. the smaller one will swim towards the bigger one kind of tonting him. The bigger one will poke at the small one veru quicly and then will leave it alone until the fish comes back. Is this natural behavior of 2 marrown clown fish? I know that if you have a pair one will become female and will be the aggresser. Is this the case? Any help would be great

if they don't constantly attack eachother than you have a pretty good chance of having a mated pair. usually if they aren't gonna get along they usually pick at eachother constantly. the larger one you have will most likely turn into the female if not already and the larger one will be the male.

What you describe seems like normal Clown behavior to me. The male approaches the female give him an attitude! As long as they're not physically attacking each other, all is well.
