mating nesesities

I am going to get a mated pair or buy 2 clowns. Now I know that they need a piece of slate to put the eggs on, but what else do they need? ( Of course good water quality, shelter, and compforting plants! ) :thinking:

Best to get a book about breeding them....its a lot to learn and equipment....cant write a book here...

some kind of lunar cycle with blue LED lunar lights because that is what their breeding period is tied with; the moon cycle

Mine lay eggs every 12 to 14 days......I have moon lights but leave them on 24/7

you can get a small moonlight lamp that clips on the side of the tank for $25 at ***** online but its not meant for a large tank
