Are you sure they weren't just stress spots? Tangs do get spots when stressed. (going from one tank to another)

It had tiny white spots that poked out (almost like it was something attached). So I'm just playing it safe and letting the lfs treat him.

If you didn't see them at the LFS then they suddenly appeared it was prob just stress. Anyway there is noting wrong with playing it safe. Good luck.

Thank you, that makes me feel so much better. Anyways, everythings alive and well. The galaxiea fell on some mushrooms but I think it's fine now. I'm gonna pick up the chevron fom the fish store next Monday since I'm on spring break, i'll probably pick up some other shrimp. And maybe those snails that I've failed to pick up last time. What's a good coral that pops? My dad wants some ricordia so I'm picking a bunch up sooner or later. I really need some coral!

Thanks! Any idea if I could have acros? I'm going to go pick up some zoos and gsp soon. I have some gsp but Im pretty sure it's a different species, so I'll trade that with someone. What are some good sps?

So today I picked up my chevron (a different one then the one that had ick, no charge) and a cleaner shrimp. The sailfin is kind of bugging him, but I think the chevron will hold his ground. I have a kole tang on hold at the LFS also.
Pictures:
Chevron:

He's camera shy:

Shirmps: (If you can see them):

Snack Time Lol:

I'm so excited to get the kole tang! Pictures up whenever I pick him up. And there won't be any additions for a while because I'm finishing up the school quarter.
Thanks,
Matt

The tank is 2 months old. Cured live rock is key. Lots of hermits. And for aquascaping, I just sit back and stare at the rocks and think (mental thinker). And I still don't like where the giant cap is. I change the rocks around pretty much every other week now. And you probably have more experience than me (I'm only 15
)
Oh and keep up on water changes! I do 5 gallons weekly.

5g a week is easy for me
and it works. Lol. But yeah, I get good grades and do chores / yardwork to save up money for this hobby. The lights and tank were a christmas present.
Do you guys think the Kole, chevron, and red sea will fight? I was told 3 tangs are better than 2 since they can't make up their minds on who to fight. (I put a small 2.5" kole tang on hold at the LFS).
Off topic- Since this tank is gonna be overstocked, I'm building my own skimmer out of a 5g water jug. I bought a sedra 5000 (a pump rated for 350 gallons) thinking it would work with my little skimmer rated for 150 gallons. Mistake on my part. But it'll be relatively cheap to built. I'll take lots of pictures of how I do it, and probably make a thread on how to build one (since no one has ever done it) trust me, I've researched. Isn't it ridiculous how much skimmers are? I mean, the pump (sedra 5000) for a ASM G-3 skimmer is $90, but the whole skimmer costs $340. You're paying $250 for a piece of plastic..... Seriously? I used to make pneumatic cannons so I'm good with pvc, so why not just substitute a $250 piece of plastic with $30 in pvc, or an $11 water jug? I guess people are just paying for brand names again. This hobby is starting to look like oakley sunglasses. Anyways, once I get the $50 my mom owes me, I'll hit up homedepot and build my skimmer. i hope it'll fit.
Maybe an out of sump design will be needed. Lol.
Feedback is helpful,
-Matt
