Max amount of fish in a 90 gallon?

i plan on doing a FOWLR and wet dry filter....... i plan on doing a community tank with some gobys and clown fish, bright colored stuff like that..... Any suggestions on other bright colored, exotic looking fish? And is there a suggested amount of fish that works best in a 90 gallon tank? I dont plan on getting all the fish at once. Just one or two at a time.... Thanks everyone!

Rule of thumb says you should be able to have about 18" of fish in a 90 gl. But it really depends on your filtration. I think a flame angle would look good in a 90 gl.
