MAxi-Jet or Rio Powerheads?

Should I use Maxi-Jet or Rio powerheads in my 180g reef setup?

Maxijets are much more reliable.
A 180g is pretty big for even a few 1200s though. I would suggest you look into a vortec, tunzes, or koralias.

Maxi jets are way better than Rios, but I agree with Viper. A 180 is a pretty big tank for just a couple of Maxi Jets. I've heard great things about Tunze Nanostreams for a tank that size..
